SlotFull Bookings ("SlotFull", "we", "us") operates the booking platform at book.slotfull.co.uk, used by independent restaurants, salons, trades businesses and studios ("Businesses") to take bookings and appointments from their customers.

Two roles we play

This matters because it determines who you should contact with a question:

• When you sign up your Business to use SlotFull (registering an account, connecting Stripe, managing your dashboard), we are the data controller of your account data.
• When one of your customers makes a booking or pays a deposit through your SlotFull booking page, your Business is the data controller of that customer's data, and SlotFull acts as a data processor on your Business's behalf. If you're a customer with a question about your booking data, please contact that Business directly in the first instance.

What we collect

From Businesses (account holders): business name, booking-page slug, login email and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), phone number, opening hours, services, staff names, pricing and deposit settings, and your Stripe Connect account ID once connected — we never see or store your bank details or card numbers.

From customers making a booking (as processor, on the Business's behalf): name, phone number, email address, party size or service selected, date/time, and any notes you add. If a deposit is required, payment is processed by Stripe directly; we store the resulting payment reference, not your card details.

Automatically: a session cookie for Business staff logging into their dashboard (see our Cookie Policy).

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing for deposits and subscription billing.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, notifications) on our behalf.
• Cloudflare — hosts our application and database.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as the Business's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting/dispute purposes (normally no more than 6 years). Businesses can request deletion of specific customer records at any time.

Your rights

If you're in the UK/EU, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Customers should contact the Business they booked with first; Business account holders (or customers if the Business is unreachable) can contact jamie@slotfull.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
